Someone left a light on for him.
Theodore “Ted” Johnson arrived at Cedar Hill Road at thirteen. Peg and Jerry Gorman’s welcome became an inheritance he now carries through his books and this work.
More than one chapter.
Ted’s story includes foster care, learning differently, teaching, technology, work, health, faith, loss, mentorship, and second chances. Those experiences shaped the questions Leave One Light On explores.
They do not make Ted the authority on every subject. Research, established practice, and qualified organizations help determine what the nonprofit can responsibly teach.
The person behind the work
Ted publishes in his own name and accepts responsibility for the organization’s stories, research standards, corrections, and public commitments.
